About the Role
MeriTec Services, Inc. is We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Information Environment Battlespace Awareness (IEBA) Studies//Technologies Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will conduct in-depth studies and research to explore what Information Environment tools, resources, and technical solutions are available and can be brought to bear to better inform commander's attempts to create or exploit information advantages.
Requirements
The Marine Corps needs to explore what technical solutions are available and what resources can be brought to bear to better inform commander's attempts to create or exploit information advantages. These studies will produce service enterprise compendium of the tools (and capabilities, in the absence of existing tools) required to gain and maintain "battlespace awareness" of the IE at the operational level (i.e., MARFOR) with applicability at the tactical level (i.e., MEF and below levels). The tools and capabilities should be compliant with the CJCS program of record, Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), and available on NIPR, SIPR and JWICS systems. These tools/capabilities are required to support Title 10 and Title 50 functions. Additionally, in this position you will:
Provide support for initial assessment of new technologies which may provide an advantage in various mission areas.
Assist with the assessment of emergent capabilities that may enhance Marines' awareness of the information environment battle space.
Assist with the development of assessment findings and briefing materials.
Conduct comprehensive research to identify technical solutions for information environment baselines.
Develop tools and capabilities for gaining and maintaining battlespace awareness of the Information Environment at the operational and tactical levels.
Explore and Identify adversary most likely/most dangerous (ML/MD) courses of action in the information environment.
Explore and Identify disinformation narratives targeted at Marine Corps Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs).
Produce service enterprise compendium of the tools (and capabilities, in the absence of existing tools) required to gain and maintain "battlespace awareness" of the IE at the operational level.Â
Support initial assessments of new technologies that could offer advantages in various mission areas.
Assist in assessing emergent capabilities enhancing Marines' awareness of the information environment battlespace.
Ensure tool and capability compliance with the CJCS program of record, Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), available on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS systems.
Develop assessment findings and prepare briefing materials.
U.S. Citizenship
TS/SCI Clearance
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience in IEBA or related field.
Familiarity with Marine Corps Operations and information environment challenges.
Familiar with the DoD's Innovation Ecosystem (comment: found here https://www.ctoinnovation.mil/innovation-ecosystem)
Knowledge of NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS systems.
Ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
